You will need a campus card to do numerous things on campus such as borrowing books from the Library and gaining access to buildings.
You will need your campus card to:
- Enter the Library
- Use the self-service machines to borrow items from the Library and renew loans
- Use the photocopiers, printers and scanning machines
- Collect inter-library loans
- Access other buildings on campus
- Serve as an identity card for Students' Union events
- Enter the Surrey Sports Park (if you are a member).
Please note that your campus card is not transferable and must only be used by you and misuse of it may lead to it being retained by Campus Safety and to the withdrawal of library facilities.
To request a new or replacement campus card please complete the campus card form. You will need to provide a recent passport style photo in jpg format.
We will email you when your card is ready for collection in the Library.
For any enquiries about campus cards please email the Library team.
If you need a replacement card due to a name or title change, please reach out to a member of the MySurrey Hive team first, via email, phone, live chat or face to face in the Phillip Marchant Building.
Once the relevant changes have been made to the system and 24 hours have passed, you will be able to request a new card. Please complete the online form and wait to hear from the Library team, who will let you know once your card is ready for collection. This will be from the 1st floor of the Library.
