MySurrey

Today is Time to Talk Day, a national day for friends, families, communities, and workplaces to come together to talk about mental health and wellbeing.

But here at Surrey, we want to carry on the conversation all year round. Which is why we’re excited to launch our brand-new wellbeing campaign, Let’s Talk.

Our new campaign, Let's Talk, is here to help you start those often difficult conversations about your mental wellbeing, to empower you to talk about your experiences and support others in speaking about theirs.

We’ll be sharing your stories and experiences, alongside information and resources, to help create a dialogue around important wellbeing topics, so that we can continue to break down barriers and help you get the support you need.

Visit the Let's Talk campaign hub to find the latest information and resources, wellbeing events, and links to our pastoral services.

What's the campaign all about?

In recognition of Time to Talk Day, psychology student Sam Buss shares her experiences of opening up and talking to a friend about her mental health, alongside top tips on how to get the conversation started.

We'll be sharing more student features on the Let's Talk campaign hub soon.

Sharing your own experience is a great way to encourage conversations, challenge stigma and inspire others to be more open about how they’re feeling.

Would you like to make a difference and share your experiences on any wellbeing topic by writing for us, featuring in a video, or providing top tips and advice? Let us know by emailing mysurrey@surrey.ac.uk.
