Wellbeing

The Centre for Wellbeing is there if you would like to talk through a personal, emotional or psychological issue.

Our registration form is the first step in coming to our service, which includes counsellors and mental health nurses:

How to register

The Centre for Wellbeing offers a range of pastoral services to ensure that our students feel well and supported throughout their time at the University. We are not a clinical service provider, but offer advice and support for mental, emotional and psychological issues, as well as signposting to clinical services.

Our services are free and we work in a range of ways to support students. We are a source of advice and guidance on health and wellbeing issues. Support can range from a consultation with a counsellor, to referral to appropriate outside agencies. We do not provide clinical services, like those delivered by NHS services, but we work closely and confidentially with NHS partners in support of individuals with severe and enduring mental health issues.

A list of self-help resources collated by the Centre for Wellbeing staff is also available for our students.

About the service

The Centre for Wellbeing is located on the east side of the Stag Hill campus, opposite Millennium House and behind the Duke of Kent building.
